Help shaving my legs, asking mom??

Ok, ive tried b4, the 2st time i asked when will i start shaving, and she said "When you get started you can't stop, and ur too young" And obiously being almost 14 i am not. my legs are so gross i wear jeans 24/7 and when i play sports im soo embarred..the 2nd time we were in the store i broght her razors and she said i have lots of those, well talk about it when we get home, and we never did.....HELP!! It's soo hard to ask her about it i dont have a great relationship with her.........help
