After a Date HELP!!!?

It was a group date. We had fun but over all it didnt go well. So it was last night so should I send a I had fun text with a smiley. Or should I be like hey what are you going today or hows it going... but I feel like that is kinda clingy. Now we talked about plans on Saturday before yesterday night so maybe I should wait another day or two and ask if he is still interested in going. Right before I got out of the car i said like bye text me so maybe I should wait for him to text me... but I dont know if he would I think he was embarred last night kinda sucked.
